Fire Pit is raw steel which will last a long time if treated properly. We recommend seasoning with oil after use much like a cast iron pan to build a durable protective coating. If left raw this will build surface rust over time. Also due to the natural properties of sheet metal this will slightly bend or warp over time from heating and cooling. It is easily bent back to flat by hand after use if necessary.
